Mote Marine Laboratory is a non-profit marine research and public aquarium facility located in Sarasota, Florida. Mote focuses its efforts on sustainability and conservation of the ocean and its ecosystem and how these positive efforts affect the viability of education and research involving local oceans. The goals of the laboratory are to become a leader in marine research, continue to work as a non-profit organization and educate the public on marine conservation, life, and research. This logo redesign is meant to exude a professionalism that reflects their expanded vision and exemplifies their goals to be leaders in marine research, conservation, and education.
