Apricate is a sustainability and conservation app focused on providing access to information on 3 major interest areas related to the natural environment: local diversity, community service, and general environmental education. Each of these areas is determined through a world map or by zip code search to find local opportunities to learn about and support the local environment.
Original concept sketches of user scenarios explored each of these areas and tried to find ways to engage the audience to seek out this information.
After initial sketches, I began drafting several different digital wireframes to get a feel for the layout as well as beginning to experiment with different fonts and colors as seen through the several style tiles.
