Mote Marine Laboratory is a non-profit marine research and public aquarium facility located in Sarasota, Florida. Mote focuses its efforts on sustainability and conservation of the ocean and its ecosystem and how these positive efforts affect the viability of education and research involving local oceans. The intent of this redesigned logo is to further the image of Mote Marine Laboratory as a leader in marine research and conservation. The improved logo and brand system present a more professional and clean design within the stationery to reflect these goals.
